Common Issues and Questions

Need help with mouse lock permission?

If you are seeing the message "Please enable mouse lock permission in your browser settings", please follow these steps:

  1. Go to xbox.com/play
  2. Click the lock icon, on the left side of the address bar.
  3. Click the site info icon, on the left side of the address bar.
  4. Next to "Mouse lock and use", click on the dropdown menu and select "Allow".
  5. Next to "Mouse lock and use", click the toggle to enable it. When enabled, the toggle is blue and to the right.

After performing the steps above, you will be able to enable mouse control and use the extension. If you are still having issues, please send us an email: support@modernkit.one

Clicking the start trial or upgrade button does not work

If this occurs, your internet connection may be blocking our payment servers. If you are on a work or school internet connection, please use a different internet connection. If you are still having issues, please send us an email: support@modernkit.one

Extension does not work on my tablet/phone

We support Chrome and Edge browsers on desktop/laptop devices. We do not support tablets or phones. Because of browser restrictions out of our control, our extension will not work on mobile devices.

We may be able to support mobile devices in the future, but cannot make any guarantees. If you want to be notified if mobile support is added, please send us an email requesting mobile support: support@modernkit.one
